NaPoWriMo 30: The Wedding
A feather stuck in his cap,
A spring in his step.
The ocean waves lap,
And recede at his journey's pep.
A kerchief in his pocket,
Determination on his face.
Lover's picture in his locket,
Lets him keep a steady pace.
A buckle on his boot,
His knife in its scabbard.
Clean and tidy is his suit,
His loving heart is stirred.
A veil over her face,
She awaits her groom.
Dress draped in lace,
Romance does bloom.
