Dandelion in Distress

Delicate as a dandelion,
Just one touch will send her flying,
Words soaring above the soil.
Yet her roots are strong,
Deep as the tallest tree,
Trailing below the surface of green.
Brightly blooming for the sun,
In anger, fear, sorrow and joy,
She lifts her golden face to the skies.
A dandelion in distress,
But she didn't ask for help.
