With fast-food chains and Dollar Stores,

Whose people drive and mingle,

At the park or by the lake.

The big city in Kansas,

With Walmarts and Targets,

Whose citizens rarely stop,

To talk to others outside.

The booming metroplex in Kansas,

With high-rises and office buildings,

Whose occupants are ever working,

To make money for themselves.
