What always shines,

but seems to sleep?

Blindingly bright,

yet strangely dim?

Begins as orange,

transforming to red?

Why the sun of course!

What grabs but has no bones,

Has arms but no fingers,

Thicker than cars yet thinner than grass?

How about a tree, my friend?

What varies in size, from dinner plate to dime,

Light as paper, yet tough for its weight,

Most colors, except for black, blue, grey and white?
