Casa Librorus

The Oak Lawn Library is a portal to the world and the lands beyond.  Within its fine walls, thousands of colorful books rest on the shelves, awaiting a child’s hands.  At first glance, they appear to be just paper, bound in a cover.  But they are much more than that.  They are adventures in themselves.  When opened, these treasures set the stage for danger, humor, romance and bravery.  All at once you’re pulled into another world with a goal to achieve.  

The word library in english means a building or room containing collections of books, periodicals, and sometimes films and recorded music for people to read, borrow, or refer to.  We get the word library from the latin word liber which means book.  The word casa means house in latin, so the phrase casa librorus means house of books.

The library is overflowing with stories, facts and biographies that keep you reading all year round.  In summer, they offer incentives and prizes for reading a certain amount of hours each week.  They also display the artwork of local artists and hold entertaining events, like story time and pet day.

My library is unrivaled in excellency and efficiency.  I would definitely recommend Oak Lawn Library to anyone who enjoys reading and jumping into journeys with new experiences.
